22-2    Frankly, there’s a lot about the colored race that the white race ought to have. They don’t have the worry; they’re more spiritual. There’s a thousand things about them that the white man can’t even touch. God made them thus. Who could ever out-sing a colored choir? Where could you find voices?

I’ve seen them come from the lands back there, didn’t know which was right and left hand, thirty or forty different tribes of them, and they sing to a place till the masters stand there and say, “I just can’t touch it.”

They’ve trained choirs for years and one will be an octave high and low and everything and say, “Listen to that,” just perfectly, even in different language. They’re gifted.

This Message shall go to the jungles of Africa

E-11    And somehow or other, the Holy Spirit just seem to place Africa right in front of me. I looked at it. And I have a vision wrote right here in the book, that the return to Africa will be far greater than the first African meeting. And then, the people not knowing what was going on, that a vision taken place, and I said, Heavenly Father…”

Not that we ask for miracles. The Bible said, “A weak and adulterous generation seeks after miracles.” And we don’t seek after miracles, but God performs miracles. Right at the same time He said that, He was performing miracles. But if we seek after them, have to have miracles, something to show of some evidence that–that we’re saved or something like that… I don’t believe in evidences. I believe the evidence that we’re saved, we took God at His Word. That’s the best thing I know, and then the fruits follow.

This was a quote from a message preached just about ten years after the prohet William Branham’s first visit to Africa. He had great healing campaigns in Africa and India where hundreds of thousands of people were in attendance.

The Message of the hour had now reached the heathen lands.

In Durban, South Africa, there was such an impact made by the healing campaigns that the mayor of that city paraded truckloads of crutches and wheelchairs through the city as a testimony to the mercy of God through that ministry.

That was over 50 years ago. If I were involved in that ministry, I would like to know how things progressed. I would like to take a look at the fruits so to speak.

The prophet’s heart was so set on the faith and spirituality of the people on the “dark continent” that he spoke about a second visit. A second visit as quoted above where there would be even greater miracles. We who are a part of this Message know that William Branham never returned for a second prayer meeting in Africa and he died in 1965.

So what happened?

Some scoffers use this as justification to label him a false prophet. Others may feel comfortable letting the question linger without an answer.

However, a question requires an answer…

Here is our answer: The same Holy Spirit that showed our prophet the vision is the same Holy Spirit that visited Africa a second time. The greater miracles are not the healing of the body but the healing of the soul. Let’s take a look at what Peter said at his great Pentecostal address:

ACTS 2:25

25    For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26    Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27    Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28    Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29    Men [and] brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30    Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31    He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Peter explained it. David was indeed dead and buried. The prophet William Branham is indeed dead and buried and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that the return to Africa will be far greater than the first African meeting, he seeing this before spake of a power going through the jungles of Africa and heathen lands and performing greater miracles; converting the souls of men.

Hundreds of thousands claimed Christianity during the healing campaigns but went right back into their religions as time went on. Remember the prophet’s vision of the first, second and third pulls. Everybody accepts the first pull but when it comes to the preaching of the unadulterated Word, the popularity wanes somewhat.

I suppose that over the past couple of months we’ve been in a war-like state as we were battling issues out on this platform (Iron sharpens iron). If you look at the last few posts, it seems everybody is in a better mood so I would like to take this opportunity to give our subscribers a look at who we are and where the preaching of the word is 50 or so years later, here in South Africa. I CORINTHIANS 6:2

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

2    Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3    Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

4    If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

5    I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

6    But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

388-127 Now, the Bride went up, the remnant left here. And she is the one who come in the second resurrection. “Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection, on which the second death has no power.” That’s right. The second resurrection will be the white throne judgment, then the church… “Don’t you know,” said Paul, “go amongst the unbelievers and the lawyers and so forth when the saints shall judge the earth.” These matters should be judged before the church, not before the unjust magistrates and so forth, but before the church our matters should. There you take one another to the law. And God pity a man that’ll take a Christian to law. That’s right. Paul even dared them to do it.

Shalom to the Bride. I chose to open with these two references in order to give us something to hold on to as we explore the recent sequence of events that inspired the creation of this blog. I remember sitting in a service around October 2010, while my pastor; Madiba spoke of elements within the Message who are attacking it from the inside. He mentioned reading a blog that was aimed specifically at Cloverdale Bibleway’s pastor and spoke of how he had decided to get involved in the debate. My first thoughts were that whatever was happening in Canada should be left to the Canadians and I maintained this sentiment until I decided to have a look at the situation for myself.

I got online and saw what seemed to be an outsider to CBW (Cloverdale Bibleway) and the split group LWF (Living Word Fellowship) attacking the ministry of one Edward F Byskal. The blogger started off under the guise of defending the rights of women within the assembly and not long after, began to focus his/her attention on Ed Byskal himself.

According to vague explanations we have received from some who chose to comment on this(Godsordinances) blog, tsanning is  “ a woman preacher from a Pentecostal group that was highly offended by the Bible saying women aren’t to have leadership positions in the house of God, and she naively came to a forum (Bro Alan’s — a message believer in AZ) on Sep-3, 2010 wanting to prove that those who felt women wasn’t supposed to have a leadership position in the church were wrong.A preacher (nickname parryiposte on the forum) from the BC area that wasn’t affiliated with the new church, but claimed to attend CBW for a spell told Tsanning about the indiscretion with the minor which was none of her business.” This is according to ShalomShalom in his comment Submitted on 2011/02/15.

I cannot tell you how ShalomShalom came to this conclusion or where he gets his information as he leaves no references for us to investigate for ourselves. All I can tell you is what I have observed for myself.

Tsanning, by some amazing coup managed to obtain information from what she/he termed “elders” within CBW. The question as to who handed over this information has yet to be answered. In another vague attempt to answer this question, one of the “elders” from the breakaway group said this to Pastor Madiba: “Do you want me to point to a particular former deacon that handed out the letter to various people?  He will argue that he did this because Bro. Byskal started making various parts of the letter public and he was simply responding to a deluge of questions from people.  He was not elected a deacon at the new church.”  Email dated 25-01-2011

As a matter of fact the answer to the question asked is yes, we would like you to point us to this former deacon you mentioned. If he was in fact a deacon, then he had a public office and if you felt that your former pastor was subject to accountability then this standard should be the same for this person you mention as well.

I can’t help but feel that a double standard was applied regarding this issue. I will explain myself. For months on end, the blogger tsanning publicly slandered Ed Byskal. All the while, nobody seemed to mind much about it as I’m sure it suited some people well enough. We published the first post on January 15 2011. In it we asked the still unanswered question about how and why an elder in any assembly could do anything like leak such information. The elder who contacted us pointed us to Bro. Lance Leroux’s Jan 16 sermon where he preached against the blog in question and asked anyone who may have been involved to stop feeding the thing.

Unfortunately, all the details of the letters were already in the public domain and personally, I feel that statement amounted to nothing more than damage control. You have the right to your own assessment.

On tsanning’s blog the detail in which she/he went into were quite shocking. Not only was Ed Byskal named openly but so was his daughter. When the shoe was put on the other foot, we finally got a response. A contributor to our blog decided to name about four individuals involved with the breakaway group. She not only named them but published their contact details and employment histories. All of a sudden; publicity became a problem.

Certain commentors who had been on tsanning’s blog and ours (InGodwetrust..Otherspaycash AKA Dustinthewind AKA BinDerDunDat) expressed dislike to such publicity. This dislike was not expressed when photos of Bro. Ed’s home were put online. It made us start to believe that there was more than a random sequence of events at play.

We got emails from an “elder” and his tone progressively changed. He started out as if he wanted to discuss the issue but when confronted with specific questions concerning the split, he told my pastor Madiba that he was too busy running a multinational company to answer the questions of a lowly pastor from Africa.

He even mentioned the names of other “senior ministers” who he had spent hours on the phone with. What he had discussed during these hours is unknown but he was kind enough to mention the pastors by name. I quote: “ Do you know that I spent hours on the phone with Bro. Barry Coffey, Bro. Donny Reagan, Bro. Ron Peterson and Bro. Paul Lafontaine.  Others spent long hours discussing this with Bro. Vin Dayal and other senior ministers that they knew.” Email dated 25-01-2011

Here’s a question:

While speaking with these pastors, was an attempt ever made to bring them all into one place with the presence of Ed Byskal or did the “elder” choose rather to compartmentalize his consultation?

And I thought if we get a bunch of men together and the ministers (They’re our colleagues here of the Gospel and men.), we could talk to one another in a way that we wouldn’t talk it before the public, because we’re all and–we’re men that understand as men, Christian men. And that way… Usually in a congregation, a group, you say something, and–and one’ll lean it a little this way, and one’ll lean it that way, and–and then it goes all out. But where we come to try tonight to tell you what I have in my heart of, concerning the church and its a–and its place and its position.
762-82 Now, I think this church… If you men would, when you build this church, make this like your headquarters and like Brother Neville here being like the senior elder among you. See? And sometimes you get a question that you can’t discuss out with your church out there, then bring it in here to Brother Neville and you all discuss it together. If there–you can’t come to any decision, I’ll be coming by pretty soon, then we’ll all come together with it.

Bro Madiba

Yes, to the best of my understanding the elders were very much in favor of bringing in several outside pastors: Tim Dodds, Dony Reagun, Ron Peterson I believe were some that were mentioned. I don’t know if for sure if it was officially suggested to bro Ed.

If they were in favour of it, did it eventually happen? As many have mentioned, we are a very long way from Canada and we may not know the details of the sequence of events. That is the reason we are left with so many questions. We’ve heard a lot of commentary or shall I say a description of some of the events that transpired. But the core issues raised are still disguised in vague responses and innuendo.

Humour me for a second and maybe regard me as representing one of those that are least esteemed in the Body of Christ.

As Paul said: “ If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church”

Unless we as the Bride feel that a political border is enough to separate us as one body. I do remember the rapture being a worldwide event which shall involve a worldwide Bride. Let’s assume for the sake of this discussion that us [Africans] may fit the criteria of being the least esteemed in this body. Under that “assumption” we then have a Scriptural qualification to judge this issue.

I know some people have wondered how two Brothers in South Africa have had such a keen interest in events that transpired thousands of miles away. I will answer this if you can tell me what It was that made Peter and Paul preach the exact same thing for years before they even met in an age where the luxury of technology was unavailable to allow them to communicate.

The issues at hand are simple. The credibility of this Message is at stake. As your Brothers, we are asking these questions not to criticize or attack but simply to establish the legitimacy of the new assembly. As far as I know, pastors, deacons and office-bearers are ordained in plain view of the public. It seems to us; all the way over here that in the case of those that split from CBW, the process is still shrouded in secrecy. Many names have been mentioned but nothing of substance has been expressed.

Who, if anybody, ordained the new pastor? Did anybody independent from both CBW and LWF witness these ordinations?

Will these breakaway groups be able one day to become assemblies who are respected in their own right or will they always be known as “the ones who left CBW”? Does it matter what we as fellow Believers think or is this strictly a North American issue?

As we progressed in our communication with the “elder” who had contacted Pastor Madiba, he eventually accused us of being  “unchristian” and therefore fit for legal discipline. The “elder” went as far as to say that he was going to demand that all our sources of information be provided as part of the discovery process of legal proceedings so that he could also pursue legal action against them.

I mentioned in one post, that the discovery process of legal proceedings went both ways. If we had to give up sources of information, then I’m sure tsanning would have to do the same as well.

We also stated plainly that as long as tsanning continued; we would continue as well.  This was in emails to the “elder” and not on the public platform of the blog. Mysteriously; in less than a week after this exchange tsanning announced that he/she would be posting her/his last comment. Does this sound like a coincidence to you? You may decide for yourself.

At the end of it all, the comments on the blog degenerated into squabbles around so-called “doctrinal” issues and hearsay. I repeat, NOTHING about the split has been answered coherently. I suppose that an opinion such as mine may not bear that much weight but someone who claims the same beliefs as the two assemblies I can’t seem to get over the lack of transparency.  It’s this lack of transparency that has me asking myself if my brethren have not somewhat been misled by an influence aimed not at their progression but at all our destruction.

I suppose that we can rest on the Scripture that says it is impossible to deceive the Elect and as long as anyone from CBW, LWF or Divine Love Tabernacle is a part of That Body, then they will not be misled by anything or anybody. Let’s pray for one another Brethren and rather than looking to politics or magistrates to solve our conflicts let’s resolve issues as Brothers and Sisters.

At the same time I publish this post, I am going to attempt to contact some of the pastors that were mentioned by the Brothers from the breakaway groups. I’ll use the emails made available on the websites of their various assemblies and invite them to take a look at what has transpired thus far. I suppose it’s only fair to involve them rather than mention their names in vague terms. This will give them an opportunity to speak for themselves if they so wish.

In closing, I’d like to take us all to detach ourselves for a second and examine the promises of the age we are living in. We are expecting a “squeeze” in this hour. We know that this “squeeze” will bring out the true characters that are hidden behind our skins (regardless of colour). The fullness of the revelation of what we contain is not a subject of debate. I’m sure our Brother Ed Byskal can testify to these things. You may find that the more these elements that were feeding this campaign against his ministry tried to apply the pressure; it only produced a stronger character. This is promised to the universal Bride of Jesus Christ. The enemy has already mobilised. Despite the credit that some may give him, he is but a tool in the hand of God, our Father. The whole creation is testifying that the time of the manifestations of the sons of God is here. Everything that was promised is in place and as surprising as it may seem, occurrences like these recent splits may be necessary birth pains to carry us into a new reality.

God bless you all and whatever you decide to do, whatever stance you decide to take, fulfil your purpose to the best of your abilities even if that purpose is the crucifixion of the flesh of Christ’s Bride.

It seems that no matter what you try, you still cannot touch the soul of a Believer. We love you all and may the spiritual maturity allow us to see past our differences and realize that we are the children of the Most High God. Truth be told that when we finally walk around that marriage supper table we surely want to see Bro. Ed and Lance at their respective seats, and the words uttered between them may be: ‘Surely, it was just one big misunderstanding between us. Mercy made a provision that we should be here. Our partial realization became a perfect realization. Who else is here? Brother Tom Rae, Lynda, John Andes, Murphy, Gary White, Rod, Ruth, and our brothers from Africa as well are here.  It surely will be a great morning. However, we will continue to hold each other responsible until we meet around that table and no matter how bitter disagreements may be, we should remember that we are carrying the winning flag in this lost age.

The Key Lessons of a Church Split

1 Corinthians 11:18 to 19

For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you; and I partly believe it.

For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

The Apostle Paul in a letter to the Believers at Corinth.  He clearly states in his communication that as far as heresies are concerned, they must be present to identify those who are “approved”. The doctrinal differences in Corinth separated people who had been worshipping together for long enough to be called; “the church of God at Corinth”. They were a recognised assembly. They were established enough to have validation from the messenger of their age. Somehow, despite being an assembly and despite living together in the same region and despite the fact that they claimed the same religion, prophet and God; they had “divisions”. These people who no doubt still believe that they had the revelation of the Message of their hour and its messenger, managed to disagree so much that they could not continue worshiping together. This was in the first Church age (see Church ages Book- William Branham) and according to Revelations 2 v6 the problem started with “Nicolaitanes” in that age. The deeds of these people included being respecters of persons rather than respecters of Word that came through the messenger.

The Nicolaitanes deeds were such as to prefer grater honour to wealthy and/or noble brethren than common people by virtue of their wealth and influence. These deeds started in Believers’ assemblies until the Holy Ghost gave way to a political system of Popes, Bishops, Cardinals and “Fathers”. Politics pushed out God’s provided Way.

Let’s look at a “hypothetical” example:

A man approaches a Pastor to discuss an issue that he has held in his heart for years. This man never had the courage to confront it head-on when he first encountered the problem because  of his natural meekness. The man worships under his pastor and as the years go by; the spiritual stability he receives under the ministry reflects in his workplace. He is stable, reliable and always up for promotion due to his consistent behaviour. He grows in strength financially and politically and he is doing well to the natural eye. Spiritually speaking, however, he holds a grudge. A grudge that was not addressed initially and so is given ample opportunity to grow. It grows over the years until one day it outgrows his confidence in his Pastor. The man approaches his pastor but is defeated by the pastor’s superior maturity in the Word (The Grudge acted like a weed and choked out the Seed.) Now, once he feels overly offended by his pastor’s preaching of the Word, he decides to use the tactics that he has developed in the corporate world and makes a play to undermine the assembly that his once beloved pastor is in charge of. He hires a preacher, mobilizes most of the deacon board and they attempt to derail the assembly. They fail.

They also forget to present the issues they have before the Church because as far as they are concerned anything may be deemed as non-Christian. The Bible says otherwise about this however.

They start a ministry but it is not a ministry based on birth. It is based on adoption of a fertile ministry’s children. Given the elements involved such as infertility, uncontrollable elders, ambitious “evangelists”, a pressurised pastor and an impressionable assembly the balance of power is volatile to say the least. The law of reproduction has every living creature bringing forth offspring “after his kind”. This is Spiritual offspring or otherwise. Disobedience will breed disobedience.

It is a strange phenomenon that sometimes we as believers who may come from a point in our lives when we feel helpless and meet a spiritual pastor. That pastor sits with us and prays with us all the way through to a stability that is evident in our lives. We thereafter develop an “attitude” against the same man for some reason and that attitude if not dealt with correctly will lead to a separation based not on the Word but on emotion and heresy.

Now I want this on record right here. I am not speaking against elders in the church. No sir. And that elder can be as poor as any man was ever poor, or be the richest man in the world as long as he is an elder in heart and deed. I would not hesitate to ordain any man that has the real Spiritual qualifications as an elder or deacon regardless of his finances or social position. But when you see a social or financial structure come into the church that divides the folks in any way–that is not of God. It is another sign of the time in this physically rich, but Spiritually impoverished Laodicean Age in which we are now living.]

We have decided to remove certain information on this blog as it seems, some elements felt that we were getting too personal. Some may say that the heat only got turned up when someone OTHER than Ed Byskal had their name on the internet for the world to examine their behaviour. I wonder why that is!

Some more irony in this saga is that the initial “blogger” who had all sorts of unprecedented access to sensitive church material has somehow decided to close up shop and has coincidentally STOPPED NAMING NAMES but refers to people in less blatant ways. All this while people are using words like “discovery” and “lawsuit” in their emails. Discovery is a two way process isn’t it?!

For the last bit of irony, the last post by our provocateur is titled as follows:

In regione caecorum rex est luscus

Translated it means: In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Is it a coincidence that Latin is a basic part of any training course in any Jesuit institution? The Society of Jesus loves the language. Not only is it poetic, it is graphic and symbolic and easily interlaced with prophecy.

For example; let’s translate In regione caecorum

This means in the land of the blind. What does prophecy teach about the time we live in?

Isaiah 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

All we need now is a one eyed man…

ODIN – One eyed Norse God.

Odin was the ruler of the Aesir, a group of “deities” in Norse mythology. Sometimes called Allfather, Odin played a central role in myths about the creation and destruction of the world. He was the god of battle and also of wisdom, magic, and poetry. His name means “fury” or “frenzy,” the quality of fierce inspiration that guided warriors and poets alike. Odin probably originated in the myths of early Germanic peoples, who called him Wo3anaz. The name of the fourth day of the week, Wednesday, comes from Woden’s-day, the god’s Old English name. Odin was married to Frigg, the guardian of marriage.

Among the deities said to have been Odin’s children were Balder and Thor. Odin—the favorite deity of princes, nobles, and warriors—came to be seen as the supreme Norse god, the one to whom the other deities turned for help and advice. He ruled them from his palace Valhalla* in the heavenly realm called Asgard. As the god of war, Odin watched over warriors who fell in battle. Valkyries* carried the fallen ones straight to Valhalla. There Odin feasted them and prepared them for Ragnarok, the final battle in which the gods and the world were doomed to perish.

As Odin is closely connected with a horse called Sleipnir, a spear called Gungir, and transformation/shape shifting into animal shapes, an alternative theory of origin contends that Odin, or at least some of his key characteristics, may have arisen just prior to the sixth century as a nightmarish horse god (Echwaz), later signified by the eight-legged Sleipnir Some support for Odin as a latecomer to the Scandinavian Norse pantheon can be found in the Sagas where, for example, at one time he is thrown out of Asgard by the other gods — a seemingly unlikely tale for a well-established “all father.” Scholars have also linked Odin with the “Death God” and also link Loki and Odin as being one-and-the-same until the early Norse Period.

Who is the king of this evil age?

When examined, the language and wording are an interesting choice are they not? If our “blogger” was a puppet and the elders the “puppet-masters”. My next question on this analysis would be; who is their domination influence? Where’s all that Latin coming from?

From this point on, we’re not necessarily shutting the blog down but will concentrate on issues that are less direct and less confrontational. Unless we discover information about others out there trying to make a public spectacle of our Message and its pastors, we’ll be turning the volume down a bit about certain individuals (whose names and contact details shall not be mentioned)!

E-21    So a hypocrite, an impostor, he can go to the world and affiliate with the world, and act like the world, and live in the world, and enjoy the pleasures of the world, and come to church and pretend to be a Christian. But the real Christian can’t go out into the world and come back; there’s something wrong. So that shows…

Show me your company, I will tell you who you are. Let me go into your house and see what you read, let me listen to–see what kind of music you–you have playing. Let me see what kind of magazines, what kind of literature you read. Let me look in your office and see if it’s a big bunch of these vulgar pictures of pin-ups and things. E-42  You’re confessing a Christian and denying the Word. Brings you right back to spiritual amnesia again (See?), don’t know where you stand. You got spiritual amnesia. You can’t identify yourself with the Scriptures. You had to be with the disciples; you had to be with all the Scripture, with the church when it was commissioned. But now when the church was commissioned, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel, these signs shall follow them that believe…” That was her commission. Now. They have… That was the commission, but they have gotten a bad case of this spiritual amnesia, just like Eve got on the–on her round through the garden one day.

Now, she’s like Israel, suffering from this same disease, an allergy from a seminary diet. That’ll give you spiritual amnesia. Get some seminary diet, and you’ll get an allergy. And then the first thing you know you’ll get amnesia real bad. You won’t believe anything the Bible says.

I guess some may have succumbed to a disease called the spiritual amnesia, and hence the undermined the End-Time Ministry by affiliating with a teenager who suffers from a SEMINARY DIET. A seminary diet will make you regard the End-Time prophet as a cult leader and ministers serving under his dispensational ministry as cult leaders. It is very interesting to observe that birds of the same feather flock together, and hence a ‘pastor’ from the splinter group was never identified and in derogatory manner but WILLIAM MARRION BRANHAM was dismissed as cultish, together with his earthly friend Ed Byskal.

To Brother Ed Byskal: Thank God that your ministry was not consumed by the people who suffer from a seminary diet and continue to preach  this Message without fear and know that the ONE who called you is more than faithful. The people at the breakaway group were born into the kingdom of God through your ministry, and we are waiting to see how the other ‘minister’ will pastor them as his results will show whether or not he understands the cost for these people to be stable today and what it means to have SPIRITUAL BIRTH PAINS. We’ll be here with two of our eyes open! In the land of the blind; that makes us more than conquerers and more than the so-called “king”.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER

The 11^th commandment given by Christ to His disciples on the night before Jesus was crucified.

JOHN 13

34    A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35    By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Here’s what the prophet had to say about the “love” used in this text.

E-101    Now, the same Holy Spirit that’s saying that, it’s just pumping against the people right here. See? See, He’s identified, folks. Don’t–don’t do that. Don’t ’cause you’re–you’re making a rashal mistake. I love you. Remember, you come to hear. I appreciate that. Love is corrective. You see your kid out here in the street, would you say, just say, “Junior, you oughtn’t to do that.” He’ll go out, and make him stay in, if you love him. Love is corrective, not patting you. I have to scold you. Remember, it’s even your offerings, and things, that pays for this meeting, and makes it possible for to be here.

Do I love you? With all of my heart. Sister, you might think that I’ve got something against you for doing the things you do; it isn’t that I have anything against you, sister. It’s my godly love for you.

258    Now, brother, sister, we’ve went through a cold spell in the church. And, that’s right, a lot of religious draft has come through; everybody’s caught cold. And a lot of people has got their eyes all closed up, and there’s a big World Council of churches coming up, up here, is going to force every one of you into it. They’re getting away from that Word, our own groups are. I am duty bound to a Message; not to be different, but because of love… Love is corrective. Come back. Stay away from that thing. You ministering brothers, I don’t care what your groups does, stay away from it. Stay out of it. It’s the mark of the beast; stay away from it. See, Jesus is knocking in this Laodicea age. See where they put Him out? He’s trying to get to individuals, not–not organizations and groups of people. He’s trying to get one here, and one there, and one there, trying. “All that I love, I chasten.”

A lot of people have differing opinions to this blog. I believe that we all have a RIGHT (LAODICEA)to opinion but when it comes to this Message, we have more than that; we have responsibility. I find it surprising that some can sit by while people attack this Message. I received one response from someone quoting the prophet saying:

486-75    When someone says evil about you, say something good. If you can’t say something good about them, then don’t say nothing. Just let it go. See? And then when you get to yourself, pray for them.

Sometimes the things that help just do not feel good my Brother. If any of my Brethren feel I spoke evil of them, I apologise and ask their forgiveness. I am not against the Brethren. I am against the influence that I believe the Brethren are under. This influence, if you check closely, may inspire a lot of emotion and feelings of sympathy and likewise but we are not to check Scriptural issues by our feelings. We are to examine them by the one infallible thing we have: the Word of God.

The prophet once said:

336-276    And by the way, while I’m speaking: somebody in–around this country somewhere is guilty of writing some cards to move Brother Neville out of this pulpit. You’re going to have to settle that with me. Uh-huh, that’s right. Uh-huh, yes, indeed. Now, I want you… It said the dea… something about the deacon board. The deacon board has not one thing to do with that pastor. No, sir. The congregation in full has all the authority. It isn’t… A deacon board’s just a policeman here in this church, just to keep order and so forth.

But when it comes to rules, the whole church has to say so. This church is built upon the sovereignty of the local church. Therefore, I have nothing to say in moving this pastor, or putting one in. I own the property; it’s given to the church. You all are the church; you people are the one who control. You’re the church yourself. And the Church, the holy Church of God is the sovereignty, is the Holy Spirit in that Church. And the only thing I do is own the property, give it over to this church as a–give it over for a church, and it’s tax free. And the church elects their own pastors. I have nothing to do with it. And the only way this pastor could ever leave, would be the pastor decide himself to go, or the majority of the votes of the church would have to say change the pastor. And that’s the only way; no deacon board can do it. The deacon board only keeps order and things in the church.

The trustees, they have nothing to do with it, only repair the church. And they can’t do it until there’s a–the whole trustee board meets and says, “We’ll build this, or we’ll do that.” Then they have to ask the treasurer if they got the money to do it. Yes, sir.

337-278    But if there’s any complaint against any member, if a member has a complaint against one another, or something wrong, you’re supposed to go to that brother yourself and talk to him, you and he alone. Then if they won’t receive it, then the next thing takes place; you take one of the deacons or somebody, and go with you to that brother. Then if he won’t receive you, then you come, tell it to the church. Then if the church… Then if he won’t receive the church, then the Bible said, “Let them be as a heathen and a Publican.” That’s right.

Does this scenario sound familiar? Here, Wiliam Branham; a dispensational Prophet says that there’s some people were busy writing cards in order to remove Brother Neville (A Pastor) from the Pulpit. These Brothers apparently, were office-bearers who for some reason or another were not satisfied with Pastor Neville. Now, let’s forget our own feeling/emotions for a little while and look at what the WORD says about a disagreement in the assembly.

Jesus Christ said:

MATTHEW 18

15     Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16    But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17    And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell [it] unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

That’s three requirements to follow when bringing a case against a Brother and in this case, Pastor Ed Byskal.

I WOULD LIKE TO ISSUE A PUBLIC QUESTION TO THE “ELDERS” OR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH THOSE BRETHREN WHO BROKE AWAY FROM CLOVERDALE BIBLEWAY. WERE THESE PROCEDURES FOLLOWED? IF THEY WERE, WHAT DID THE CHURCH DECIDE?

IF THIS PROCEDURE WAS NOT FOLLOWED, THEN BRETHREN IS YOUR ASSEMBLY BASED ON THE WORD OF GOD OR ON THE EMOTIONS AND DOCTRINES OF MEN?

IT MAY SOUND HARSH BUT AS FELLOW BELIEVERS WE ARE INTERESTED IN EACH OTHER. WE ARE TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. THAT LOVE HAS CORRECTION INSIDE IT, DOES IT NOT? I AM NOT IMMUNE TO THIS CORECTION. IF THERE’S SOMETHING I’M MISSING; LET’S CLEAR THE AIR, BUT LET’S BASE OUR DISCUSSION ON SCRIPTURE, NOT SENTIMENT OR POLITICS.

We’ve had our fair share of criticism when we began this blog. To some it is strange that two Africans thousands of miles away would be concerned about this issue. That’s OK in the natural scheme of things. However, as far as this Message is concerned, we believe in things like “Theophanies” and representation “Beyond the Curtain of Time”. If we are all represented there, does race, ethnicity or geography matter? Also, if I can see my Brothers in the breakaway group falling for something which threatens to separate them from the Word; should I as some suggest, say nothing? Stick my head in the sand and pray for the best?

Now I’m not trying to fuss, I’m just trying to stand on solid ground and sometimes as a Believer, you have to stand for what you believe in.  The time when the Pillar of Fire was photographed, a Brother named Brother Bosworth was at a debate defending Divine Healing. Brother Branham was reluctant to go at first but Brother Bosworth could not sit still. The prophet didn’t go until the last minute and practically snuck into the debate. We all know how things went after that.(For those who don’t, check the message “PILLAR OF FIRE JONESBORO AR 53-0509 and read the whole account.)My aim in mentioning this is to speak to all those spectators out there who seem to prefer a non-confrontational approach and who may even quote the prophet to try back it up. Sometimes we have to be rugged Brethren and to stand up for what we believe in. If you believe that the way in which things transpired at Cloverdale were correct, then STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE. If you believe otherwise again; STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN. Don’t be a silent spectator using quotes to shield your fear. Stand up because the very Message you claim to believe in is at stake. This is bigger than an internet blogger. This is a global issue and this “influence” is working very hard to make sure these un-Scriptural things creep into the Message.

THE PILLAR OF FIRE       JONESBORO AR   53-0509

E-30    Notice. Then they didn’t care whether they was riding a one humped camel, or two humped camel, or a three humped camel, or the fourth rain, fifth rain, latter rain, middle rain, or what rain it was. They were one thing. They believed in Divine healing, and they all run together in that big coliseum, about thirty-thousand packed out. They come in airplanes from everywhere and everything, drove in, and taken all night, at a time. What was it? The thing that their Lord had taught was at stake and they was ready to stand their grounds.

Faith without works is dead. Love is corrective. The Church of the living God not only believes the Word, according to the end time prophet, she IS the Word. Remember, it only took the enemy one changed word to cause all the trouble we have today. If I am wrong about this, I invite correction. As your Brother, I wish to be right with God and God and His Word are one and the same. I look at the situation at Cloverdale as an outsider and I wonder how and why that crucial part was left out? (i.e. why was the matter not brought before the congregation before a split was engineered?) Can God make a mistake and say one thing 2000 years prior, then influence a group to separate and go against the same thing He has spoken. If He is Eternal and Omniscient (which HE is) then HE cannot.

In closing; a word from the prophet:

E-38    What is it? Because of their educational programs, and things, that’s the reason we can’t have revival. That’s the reason something can’t go on. That’s the reason we’ve been going on, because you’ve got to get back to that Word again, my brother. That’s right. Such a pity of a thing like that, under the auspices of a Pentecostal movement. You couldn’t say God sponsored a thing like that. Certainly not.

But what is it? It’s something that’s got glamor. You’ve seen too much television. You’re too much impersonated with the world. That’s the reason the whole thing’s rotten, and corrupted, and falling apart. Right. It stinks before God. I don’t care how much you speak with tongues, how much you shout, and run around through the room. I don’t care how much you do this, or how big you grow, how many dignitaries you get among you. That has nothing to do with it. You ought to oust some of that, and get the Holy Ghost among you that’ll clean you up, and make a real church out of you. There’s the thing. That’s exactly the truth.

E-39    We… What we need today is a prophet of the Lord to rise on the scene with the Word of God, that don’t compromise with the things of the world. That’s the only hope there is for–for a life that is to come, somebody’ll handle the Gospel, not with rubber ecclesiastical gloves on. Believe so much and take away so much–oh, our denominational difference now has weeded us into about nine hundred different organizations. Our deacons are permitted to have two or three wives, and still serve as deacons.

Sometimes a preacher will leave one church and go to another one, because there’s more money at one place than there is another, a bigger crowd at one place, and a better church, and so forth, have pets and puppets and… Oh, my. We want God-called men, rugged from the wilderness yonder, with a message that–like John the Baptist, that’ll shake the hide off of some of these so-called religious moves. It’s a sin. It–it grieves the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes in the visions the Lord gives… Well, I won’t get onto that now. See? I was asked the other day… No, I’ll just… I’ll keep… Excuse me.

E-40    Now, to the message of falling apart. The things that’s going on, the things that oughtn’t to be–ought to be foreign to the church, yet it is… Speak to them about it, they don’t want to believe it.

E-42    God will not save the world by an organization or a system. He’ll save it by the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is the Word made manifest. It’s the promises of God made manifest. Yes, sir. We’ve taken our traditions and made the Word of God of non effect, just like they did in the days when Jesus come. Oh, yes, sir.

God promised to supply our needs, not our wants. We’re always wanting something, but we want it in our own way. You say, “Well, I–I want that. I… Well, Lord, send us this, and send us that.” God knows our needs. That’s exactly right. He knows our need.

E-43    What if your little boy seen you shaving with–with your straight razor, and he’d say, “Daddy, I want that razor.” You know better than to give that child that razor. Well, what if he’d say, “Daddy, I’ve seen you do it.” Well, that’s different. You’re an adult. You know how to use the razor. You’re an adult. You–you’ve–you’ve accumulated the intelligence to know how to use a razor.

The prophet has passed on. The Angel who supported his ministry is still on the scene. What was the Angel saying Brethren? I’m not asking how you feel about myself or what I have published. My question is directed to any Believer who claims to be in contact with that Angel. What is your representation saying?

Economics vs. The Word

LUKE 22

1       Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

2    And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

3    Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

4    And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

5    And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

6    And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

This portion of Scripture relays the story of a brief course of events, which eventually culminated in the death of Jesus Christ. One of his disciples, Judas, facilitated the death of Jesus. The Bible described him as the son of perdition; a man who was ordained from birth to become what he became. Somehow; despite all that Judas witnessed and experienced under the Ministry of Jesus, at the climax of the ministry, while the other disciples were preparing to receive the promise for their age; Judas preferred a financial reward. The prophet William Branham speaks of it as follows:

Now, then when it come to Pentecost for Judas to receive the Holy Ghost and so forth, he showed his colors. He–he denied Jesus and become a traitor to Him. – PATMOS VISION  JEFF IN  60-1204E

Contrary to what one may expect; the purpose of this blog is not to point an accusing finger at an individual or individuals and call them sell-outs and/or Judases. It is to look at the spirit that infiltrated an insider in the Ministry and make him overlook the Word in exchange for economic gain. Let’s get one thing clear. If I sit in an assembly and hear my pastor preach against “adultery” for example. If I have no problem with adultery, I don’t expect I’ll  feel negative or condemned by the sermon. If, however, I have had some indiscretion which remains unconfessed; I may think to myself: “Is he talking about me?” Truth be told. Many people may read this article and make reference to individuals or even themselves. The reality of how you feel about it is between you and God. We simply wish to expose a spirit which is currently working extremely hard in Message assemblies around the globe.

Now, as the Scripture reports, Judas like the other apostles was baptized, walked with the Messiah and cast out demons. Unlike the other disciples, he found it difficult to go all the way. The devil entered his heart, he communed with the chief priests and from that point onward, all he could think about was selling out Christ. Notice who he sold out. I say Christ because as we well know, God takes a man but the spirit remains. As long as the spirit of Christ is at work amongst the people, the same spirit that was influencing Judas shall be at work as well. However, the key is identifying this spirit.  This age that we live in is an age of deception. An age where the two spirits are so close “insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. “

We used to think that this Message could never be sold out. We heard the prophet speak of ministers in his time selling out Pentecost. We heard of his refusal to bow before the pope and his refusal to accept monies offered to him.  He refused to let the influence of economics overtake him. I would like today to take a positive stance and give tribute to our pastors within this Message who have refused to sell out. We began this forum as a response to an attempt by certain individuals to discredit this Message by attacking the Ministry of Pastor Ed Byskal. I can only say that I’m happy to see that ministry being preserved by God and being able to resist an economic takeover.  It’s a David vs. Goliath situation and somehow, every time these circumstances are generated, God uplifts the little guy (no pun intended!)

I would also like, at this time to give respect to the pastors whose photos appear below, for having a track record of stability and not selling out their ministries. As the promises of the age get closer, the pressure on such men increases and may even present itself in the form of “Brethren” who may present options that are economically rewarding but force a man to divert from the Scripture. It’s a controversial topic but one that cannot be ignored. In the absence of doctrinal backing, support must be bought. The Pharisees had no Scriptural leg to stand on. They needed an agent to fulfil their desire of ridding the earth of the Ministry of Jesus. Is this activity repeating itself in this age? Watch this space as we dig deeper.

We are looking at legitimate assemblies worldwide that we know of. (Please don’t feel offended if yours does not appear.) The photos we have chosen are based upon a track record these men have generated. It is not a list that cannot be changed. As the issue of church takeovers continues and as global influence-peddling activities progress. We may from time to time modify the list and start adding more detailed information about this current “squeeze”.  We pray that our Brothers stand strong in support of the Word and refuse to be influenced by money. In closing; I would like to take a quote  from William Branham. In it, he clearly identifies the process that takes a man who has observed a supernatural ministry and causes him to betray it. It makes for interesting reading when we  look at events that are unfolding today (58 years later).

See, the time comes, friends. And I want the people in the land that the tapes goes to, to remember that the separating time has to come. It must do it. I don’t know how far I am from the end time, my end of the road. I don’t know. That’s up to God. I don’t know what tomorrow is, and who… I don’t know what it holds, but I know Who’s holding it. So that’s where my faith is built, on that.

Now, I imagine Demas didn’t forsake him and start off to nightclubs. I don’t imagine Demas did that, ’cause Demas was a Spirit-filled man. He was a great helper. If you ever took the history of Demas, he was a notable preacher, a fine cultured man, highly polished, educated. He was a smart man. But why would he forsake Paul? That’s the thing. What made him do it, forsake Paul? I don’t believe he wanted to go to a nightclub or anything. But I believe it was God separating Paul. Now, I imagine Demas…

56    Let’s take some of Demas’ thoughts. As I was sitting down on the hillside, wondering the other day, about daylight, and I was thinking, “Why would Demas want to leave that fellow? Why would he leave that poor little preacher that led him to the Lord, the man who spearheaded the revival amongst the Gentiles, a prophet indeed?” No one could say but what he was a prophet. He was more than a prophet; he was an apostle, and a great and mighty apostle to the Gentiles. And Demas would associated with Paul, had fellowship, and seen the Spirit of God move upon that man. And why would he turn his back on such a person as that, had been vindicated that he was a servant of Christ? Did you notice Paul here, “… loving this present world.” I don’t think Demas backslid. I don’t think he did that. But I think he–he got the wrong opinion of Paul.

57    Now he… Demas come out of a rich family, and he was wealthy, and money sometimes means religion to people. Like they say in California, “If you haven’t got three Cadillacs, you’re not spiritual.” So it means, if you’re not successful, if you don’t have the finest church there is in the city, the people won’t go. It’s almost that way here. Proves to you–you’ve got to have the finest church in the country or they say, “You, oh, you mean you joined up with a little bunch like that?”

Did you know our Lord didn’t have a place to lay His head? Did you know He only owned one coat? See? And He had it, He was just kind of a Person was pushed about. And He didn’t have no place to lay His head. But they could’ve thought the same thing, and did, about Him.

59    And now, I believe Demas saw a failing, seemingly, in Paul’s ministry. I think that he thought the old fellow was washed up before God. Now, he thought that a people that would pluck their eyes out to give to Paul…

Now, the–Paul said that, he said, “You would at least plucked your eyes out to give them to me.” ‘Cause Paul, we think, had bad eyes, ’cause he said, “I’ve wrote with such big letters.” He said, “big letter” but I’ve got the–the lexicon, and it says “with big letters.” He was in Rome in prison there. It’s something wrong. He said his eyes had been bothering him since the heavenly vision. So he… The people would’ve plucked out their eyes, seeing Paul suffer, his eyes bothering him, and he suffering. And he asked the Lord to heal him three times. And he said, “Except I would get exalted above the abundance of the revelation, there was sent to me a messenger of the Devil that he might buffet me.” Now, we’d get pretty good, then hit him again. Then he’d get good, and hit him again.

61    You see, Paul had a ministry greater than all the rest of the apostles put together. Some of them could’ve said, “Well, I walked with Jesus.” Why, man on the street walked with Him when He was here. But Paul saw Him in the Pillar of Fire after He was dead, buried, ascended into heaven, and returned back and called Paul (See?) on the road down to Damascus. And he had a greater ministry than Matthew, Mark, Luke, or any of them others. He was far beyond them. And he said, “Except I get exalted now and say, ‘Now, you fellows don’t know nothing about It,’ I seen the Lord after His resurrection.”

Well, they say, “We walked with Him.” Well, so did all them people down around in Galilee and Nazareth and through the country there. They all walked with Him.

63    But, you see, Paul had talked with Him and saw Him in the form that He was before He was made flesh. See? And He commissioned Paul in that state. While He was in that Light, He commissioned Paul. And–and Paul had saw Him. And he said, “Except I get exalted, feel a little higher than some of you brothers, there was given to me a messenger of the Devil,” that keeps him beat down. And he said, “I sought the Lord three times to take it away from me. And He said, ‘Saul, or Paul, My grace is sufficient.'” Then Paul said, “I’ll glory in my infirmities, because when I am weak then I am strong. See, I will glory in it.”

64    Now, did you notice now, a man that had a ministry greater than any of the rest of them that had been on the field, Paul, the greatest ministry of all of them, that had seen Jesus in a Pillar of Fire, and commissioned him to do what he done, and was a-vindicated by the same God, the same power, by signs and wonders beyond any question; and was so poor he only had one coat, preaching to a bunch of people that would’ve plucked their eyes out, and some of them millionaires. And yet Paul had one coat. He said, “Bring that coat, getting cold up here.” He was in the mountain country. He only had one coat.

And Demas, to a man that was of high standing, high caliber, cultured, educated, and a rich man that had many changes of clothes, “That guy, was something wrong with him. That had so many friends that would pluck their eyes out to give it to him, and yet he’s so poor he had one coat. Something was wrong with Paul.”

66    Oh, you know, that spirit don’t leave the world; they still have it that way. Money ain’t God. There’s only one God. See? But people think because you have a big ministry you ought to own all this and all this, and all these great big things, and big schools, and big so-and-so. God doesn’t deal in them things. Or at least, that’s been my opinion. God deals with an individual. He never did ordain us to go do such things.

But Paul, with one coat, and he tells Timothy here to bring it to him because it’s getting cold up there. See? A man that had a ministry that preached to the tens of thousands that Paul did, and a ministry that could do all kinds of miracles, and seen Jesus in a Pillar of Fire, commissioned him, and yet owned one coat. Demas said, “A fellow like that,” he’d turn away from him.

Megalomania and the delusion of power.

Megalomania as a word defined as:

1. A psychopathological condition characterized by delusional fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence.
2. An obsession with grandiose or extravagant things or actions.

Megalomania as a mental disorder is defined as:

A delusional state where a person believes that they are superior to others. They may believe themselves to be a god, a famous person or a gifted athlete. They may feel they have great social, political or other powers. It is generally considered a symptom of other manic  or paranoid disorders.

It used to be that any person wishing to express a superior standpoint, historically speaking of course, had to first find a public platform. This public platform allowed the person with the ideology (megalomanic or otherwise) to extend an influence over the general public and concurrently allow the public to scrutinize the candidate. It has always been deemed necessary to allow the public access to your life if you seek the privilege of influencing public opinion. Needless to say, due to any public figure coming under rigorous public scrutiny (from Jesus Christ downwards), many people along the course of history who may have had “an epiphany” or “big idea” were compelled to first check their own existence for anything that may be used as a basis for attacking their “revelation”. Pastors, presidents, prophets and publicists have all been subject to such scrutiny and therefore; they aspire to live a life that reflects what they profess. Enter the internet age. The modern-day PC with an internet connection has allowed a myriad of “anonymous” voices to beam even the most warped doctrine, opinion and information without the same public they are trying to influence having the right to examine the source of such communication. Sexual perverts can anonymously crawl the internet and prey on unsuspecting children. Anonymous bloggers are able to publish any form of hearsay or heresy they please without ever having to stand up for what they say. Cowardly people can operate from “behind the scenes” and try to influence their unsuspecting public; all the while resisting the very same transparency they expect from the people they accuse. It is akin to pointing a finger from out of a black hole. We want to see who is behind the hand.

Let’s look at one example of a relationship where the real power lay “behind the scenes”.  Ahab and Jezebel. Ahab was a king of Israel by virtue of succession. He married the daughter of a high priest of Baal and turned a spiritual nation into a degenerated political state. His wife, became the De facto ruler of Israel by virtue of the control she had over him as well as the influence she had over various figures that had infiltrated the nation of Israel. One example of her show of force was the assassination of Naboth. Jezebel, who incidentally did not use the laws of Baal to prosecute Naboth, planned this assassination. She used the laws of Israel to accuse the man and facilitate his stoning. This stoning came by way of two false witnesses (as the law of Moses required : “In the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established”. The Scripture is as follows:

And it came to pass after these things, [that] Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which [was] in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.

2    And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it [is] near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; [or], if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.

3    And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

4    And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

5     But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?

6    And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee [another] vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.

7    And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, [and] eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

8    So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, and sealed [them] with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that [were] in his city, dwelling with Naboth.

9    And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:

10    And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And [then] carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.

11    And the men of his city, [even] the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, [and] as it [was] written in the letters which she had sent unto them.

12    They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.

13    And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, [even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

14    Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned, and is dead.

15    And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.

16    And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.

Let’s review the sequence of events:

1) Ahab desires Naboth’s vineyard. He’s not willing to sweat it out and plant his own; he wants one the easy way. A ready-made vineyard.

2) Naboth is  under no legal obligation to sell out his inheritance, regardless of Ahab’s political standing and refuses to sell.

3) He goes home with a heavy heart and speaks to his idol worshipping bride. (Bear in mind that although Ahab and jezebel were joined together in matrimony that relationship was an ABOMINATION before God). The scripture also mentions that he was “stirred up” by Jezebel, his wife, showing clearly who was influencing the throne of Israel and therefore the policy of the nation.

It must have been a dreadful morning. It was so hot and dusty, and people was in the street starving, and the earth was so hot it was ready to burn. All this was the reflection of their sins and their moral decay.

You see, Ahab was reigning in–in Israel at the time–or over Israel, and he was the wickedest of all the kings of Israel. There had been no king as wicked as Ahab. For he, being taught and knowed better, he failed not to continue to displease God in everything that he did. Although he had a great military system, and the people had become very prosperous under his reign. But yet, you cannot displease God and expect to get by very long.

And then in his wedding, instead of marrying among his own people, he went over and married a sinner, an idolater, worship of idols. He married Jezebel. And she was not a believer.

And no believer should ever marry an unbeliever, under no circumstances: should always marry believers.

But Ahab had done this evil thing. And no doubt but what Jezebel was a beautiful woman. And he’d fell for what she looked like in the stead of what she was. That’s… So many people make that same mistake to this day.

And she had brought idolatry in the nation, among the people. And the people, the priests, their ministers, had fell victim to this great popular demand.

4) Jezebel, took matters into her own hands on behalf of her weak husband and arranged a feast, signing the letters with Ahab’s own seal.

5) Two sons of Belial (Not Israelites) were used to bring false accusations against Naboth, claiming that he had blasphemed God and the king. They used the law of Israel to stone him but the agents used to exact the accusations had no parts in Israel.

6) Naboth is stoned and Ahab takes possession of it due to intervention of his idolatrous bride.

Looking at the split in Cloverdale Bibleway it’s easy to draw parallels. The only relationship difficult to type is the one between the anonymous blogger tsanning and the “elders” of the breakaway group.

1) The “elders” desired to take over Bibleway assembly. They were not willing to sweat it out and start their own but wanted one the easy way. A ready-made church.

2) Ed Byskal, under no Scriptural obligation to sell out his ministry, regardless of the “elders’” political standing resists the move.

3) They leave the assembly dejected and according to tsanning she received a copy of a sensitive letter which was sent to Ed Byskal. She/He mentions this in her blog dated November 10, 2010. I quote: “The elders of his church gave him a letter outlining all of the accusations against him. I want to thank the person who sent me a copy of the letter.”  NOTE SHE/HE DOESN’T SAY THE PEOPLE BUT SAYS “THE PERSON”.

4) The blogger, who started out as claiming she/he was concerned with the suppression of female rights within the assembly; now proceeds to unleash personal and detailed information about Edward f Byskal’s daughter as well as his supposed mishandling of the case.

5)The outcome of these actions is yet to be seen.

Now; here are my points. Jezebel fit the psychological description of a megalomaniac and thrived in the environment where she could operate “anonymously” and on behalf of Ahab. She ruthlessly arranged the death of Naboth because she could not stand to see the dejection of her LOVER.

Ahab was silent throughout the whole process but reaped the benefit of the ploy as he eventually inherited the vineyard.

Tsanning fits the profile of a megalomaniac from within her “empire”. This “empire” is the blog she/he has created in which she/he is the final word on EVERYTHING. Any comments or posts contrary to her opinions are summarily deleted and/or edited as witnessed by various people who have submitted opinions on the blog.

She/he even goes as far as to say :

“***Deleted – I try not to repeat myself and don’t want to subject anyone else it***”

– response to her January 2 2011 post. (she deleted one respondent’s opinion)

It is quite clear that from within the internet-spawned environment, tsanning exhibits traits of megalomania. Wether these traits are expressed outside of this environment is unknowm as we still do not know who she/he is.

We also do not know what kind of relationship she/he has with the “person” who “sent” her a letter with details of the accusations listed. Now; let’s emotionally detach ourselves for a second and examine this story.

You’re an elder in a church. You’re disgruntled about your pastor’s actions and decide to speak with other elders and eventually approach him about a 20 year old issue. You’re not satisfied with his response and decide to attempt a takeover of proceedings. You fail in your attempt and leave to start your own assembly.

(Here’s where it gets unbelievable)   YOU ARE SURFING THE INTERNET AND COME ACROSS A RANDOM BLOG QUESTIONING YOUR FORMER PASTOR’S STANCE ON THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE ASSEMBLY. YOU AS AN “ELDER” DECIDE THAT IT IS IN KEEPING WITH YOUR OFFICE TO FORWARD A COPY OF THE LETTER YOU WERE INVOLVED IN PRESENTING TO YOUR FORMER PASTOR; DETAILING NAMES AND ACTS THAT ARE VOLATILE TO SAY THE LEAST AND CAN PUT MARRIAGES, MINISTRIES AND YOUR OWN REPUTATION AS AN ELDER AT RISK. YOU SEND THIS “UNKNOWN” OUTSIDER A COPY OF THE LETTER AND SHE/HE RUNS WITH IT.

This is an incredulous sequence of events and wouldn’t make the script of the most far-fetched fiction movie or soap opera. Let’s be sincere. Is that story believable??

Not at all.

My thoughts are as follows: tsanning as we have established; exhibhits megalomanic traits from within the environment of her/his blog. As Jezebel was operating on the behalf of Ahab with ruthless intent, this individual is operating on a person (or persons’) behalf with ruthless intent to destroy the ministry of one Edward F Byskal. There is definitely a relationship between tsanning and the one who supplied the information. The only question is about the NATURE of this relationship. You can ascertain from tsannibg’s tone that there is definitely some emotion fueling her discourse. This emotion; in Jezebel’s case was the desire to please her lover.

In tsanning’s case? She will have to clear that up for us. I wonder, if the curtain is pulled back and that relationship is exposed to the scrutiny of the public she/he/they are attempting to influence, will the “RELATIONSHIP” be acceptable.

Now, in the day when just at the midnight of Israel’s history… If you notice, King Solomon, in the day of Solomon, Israel was at it’s brightest turning. Then the king of Ahab, time of king Ahab, it was at its darkest. Just at the dark time of Israel, where Ahab married a little old, idol worshiper, and brought idolatry into–into Jewish religion, so did the Holy Ghost church marrying into the world and bringing idolatry in the dark ages: very beautiful type on both churches.

And Ahab was a borderline believer, just a fellow that believed enough to make him miserable. Did you ever see people like that? Well, they have conception that they would like to go to church, and do right; they feel like it’d make them a better social person in their social lives. And maybe for the sake of their children, they think they ought to, maybe, belong to church. If that isn’t the most miserable person I know of. I tell you; that the best of cut loose all shore lines and launch out into the deep, or don’t go at all. Just simply stay home, or either go all the way for Christ. God wants somebody who’ll really go all the way, give all you got, soul, body, and spirit to the service of the Lord.

Now, this borderline believer, as I called him a few moments ago, oh, he kindy had a mental conception of his theology, that he thought, “Well, there is a God, but maybe Baalim is god too, and the others is so forth.” And his wife kindy got him mixed up in that.

You know, boys, I’m telling you tonight, and you young ladies, be careful who you marry; you’ll have a broken home the first thing you know. And it’s not good to–sinners and Christians to marry together. Don’t be unequally yoked together, ’cause that’s what got Ahab. She was pretty little thing, yes, paint all over her face, eyes like a lizard, but she was a… The thing of it was, that…

Did you know what? That’s the truth. That’s the… Ahab just fell for her, because she was, perhaps, pretty, because he couldn’t have fell for her for character, ’cause she was a murderer; she was everything else. That’s right. And Ahab fell for her because she was pretty. And then, he got hisself infatuated with her, and then she just ruled him with her finger.

You know, the wisest man in the Bible outside of Christ died a heathen idolater because of a bunch of pretty women? Solomon. Pulled him away from God. All right.

Don’t yoke yourself up unequally. And I’ve seen many people come to the platform, and be healed, and walk away, and mix up with unbelievers, and their sickness come right back to them again.

The Body if Belivers in Christ is the Spiritual type of the nation of Israel. We as Christians are Israel by Faith. For an Israelite to yoke themselves up with a daughter of Baal is abominable. For an “elder” in an assembly claiming to have the true Revelation of Jesus Christ in this hour to be hiding behind the skirt/pants of some anonymous blogger is a disgrace. I feel for any member of an assembly with an “elder” of that calibre. You may feel that the person who handed the letter over is not the responsible party but rather the one who is transmitting it with a view to influence the public. I’ll point you to the Word as given through Elijah in THAT hour to both Ahab and Jezebel.

The character and ministry of Pastor Edward F Byskal is currently undergoing an assassination attempt. The accusers are hidden and cowardly. Working in secret and pointing fingers in the dark, they whisper with concealed identities and use the quotes of the same prophet the pastor believes him to bear witness against him. We thank God that if there’s is one thing we are able to do as Believers, is bear witness against such actions. I’m certain some readers of this blog and the other one know the full story. Please be informed that I am in no way connected to Cloverdale Bibleway or Living Faith Tabernacle or any Of the Brothers and Sisters in either assembly but by the Fellowship we share as Christian Brethren. Our belief calls for us to bear our own testimony and I say it’s a shame that a Believer who is reading these posts and KNOWS VERY WELL what the full story behind this furor is including the relationship in question would decide to remain silent! They used to burn Christians for their testimony alone. In 2011, we are even fearful to take a stand on a VIRTUAL PLATFORM! According to the Scripture, the last days must bring the FULL REVELATION of all the things that the people who died for this Gospel wished to know even as they were fed to lions. How close are we to the end?

First and foremost; we would like to acknowledge all those who have supported this forum and will continue to encourage an open forum for CLEAN discussion. Today, I would like to look at the incident of the split in Cloverdale Bibleway while taking a somewhat spiritual perspective, God willing. We know that according to Scripture, we are living in the “end time” or the “last days”. This is apparent to just about anybody who has bothered to skim over biblical text and look at the “signs” of things that are to be in this hour. This hour, as when the old Testament was ending, signifies a change in dispensation. The Gospel is returning to Israel and the “fullness of the Gentiles” is upon us. Looking at the split in the assembly of Cloverdale Bibleway, I cannot help but draw a comparison or parallel to what must happen to all Christians WORLDWIDE under what the prophet William Branham termed “the squeeze” and following that, the great tribulation. It is identified as a political power being mobilized against the very Person of Christ within the people. This same power will be so close in the impersonation of Christ that it will “deceive the very elect, if possible”. Recently a split occurred within a Ministry that has been going strong for some 50-odd years. The people who decided to break away did not only want to leave and start their own ministry; they wanted to use POLITICAL means to take over the very building that Edward Byskal’s Ministry was responsible for erecting. From a log church to worldwide evangelism to the preaching of sound Doctrine which I believe stirred up some emotions within some people or “elders” who felt insulted or belittled from behind the pulpit and chose to start investigating the life of Ed Byskal in order that they may find somewhat against him. Sounds familiar? Read your Bible and you’ll see the parallels. These “elders” then decided to get some “legal” assistance in order to wrestle the grip of the church’s assets from the hands of the remaining assembly and even went as far as saying that it made sense to them to base this battle of ownership on the “strength” of numbers calling for a tally of support and putting forward that the group with the most supporters must take over the infrastructure. Rather than saying; “come out from amongst them” these “elders” opted to attempt an internal coup by force of “democratic” political will. Whether or not they had any scriptural backing in their attempts remains to be seen. According to an internet blogger, these “elders” also went as far as to send her/him private and sensitive material regarding the life of Ed Byskal’s daughter, focusing on incidents that occurred decades ago. As per a political move; they chose to use any route other than the biblical route. After 20 years of attending services under the ministry the best weapon they had, was an accusation. I say accusation because a sin confessed before God and pardoned by the Blood is thrown into His “sea of forgetfulness”. The only one who remains with its “record” is Lucifer, who according to scripture is the accuser of the Brethren. Is this sound doctrine? I say yes. Now, for these “elders” who are looking for strength in numbers; let’s look at a quote or two from the prophet; William Branham.

197    God’s looking for character, not membership, character. Eliezer, when he went to get the Bride of Chri–of–of Isaac, he sweated it out until he found character. Remember, Abraham put him responsible as God puts us responsible (That’s right.), we ministers. “Hunt My Bride.”

God bless your heart. I ain’t looking for members; I’m looking for the pure in heart (See?), somebody that’ll believe the Word.

Eliezer looked, and he thought, “Oh, I can’t do this myself. There’s too much responsibility. I’m realize the responsibility of finding Isaac…” Which, is type of the Church, you know, Christ; Rebekah, the type of the Bride… And Eliezer got down on his knees and said, “God, You–You just have to help me.” And when he referred to God, God helped him. He got character.

My questions: Why attempt to start a ministry through political means. If you are accountable as a minister why not go out there and be independent? Why wait 20 years before you notice a problem with the ministry you’re in? Judas Iscariot also waited quite some time during that hour. What was his influence? The bible says that he was born the son of perdition. These “elders” may or may not be the same (God knows) but what is the same is the influence of political will. Now, it’s on the level of an individual assembly but it is prophesied to be on a global level against all those who are predestinated to live in this hour and resist the Mark of the Beast.

Revelation  20: 4 “And I saw thrones, and them that sat thereupon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them which were beheaded for the witness of Jesus Christ, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received the mark upon their foreheads, or in their hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

Church Age Book  Chapter 10  A RESUME OF THE AGES

The false church groups will come together in a world council of churches. This world council of churches is the IMAGE ERECTED TO THE BEAST. Revelation 13:11-18, “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred three score and six.”

Now remember, it was Imperial Pagan Rome that fell by the sword. But she was healed of her death stroke when she joined to the nominal Christian church of Rome and incorporated paganism and Christianity, and thereby became the Holy Roman Empire which was to endure until Jesus came and destroyed her. But Rome is not going it alone. Her daughters are right with her and she will take over absolute authority by the World Council of Churches. This may seem far fetched to some but actually it is very plain for all to see because right now the churches are controlling politics and at the opportune time will manifest exactly how great is that control. This ecumenical move will end up with Rome at the head even though the people did not envision it that way. This is so because in Revelation 17:3-6 it states that the whore, Mystery Babylon is seated on the beast. She is controlling the last, or fourth empire. This Roman Church is doing that. With the world church system under her Rome will be controlling, and this image (church system) will be obedient to Rome because Rome controls the gold of the world. Thus all the people have to belong to the world church system or be at the mercy of the elements for they cannot buy or sell without the mark of the beast in the hand or head. This mark in the head means that they will have to take the doctrine of the world church system which is trinitarianism, etc., and the mark in the hand which means to do the will of the world church. With this great power the church systems will persecute the true bride. This image will try to keep the bride from preaching and teaching, etc. Her ministers will be forbidden to give comfort and truth to the people who need it. But before the antichrist (in person) takes over this complete world system of churches the true church will be taken away from this world to be with the Lord. God will catch away His bride for the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

As we have seen in Scripture; the Ministry of Jesus became a serious problem for the political powers-that-be in Israel at the time; the Pharisees, Scribes and Sadducees. Separated by their own denominational differences on doctrine; these three groups UNITED to plot against the Message of the hour in their day. They recruited an “elder” in the church and used him to bring Jesus Christ’s Ministry into disrepute via a political route. They eventually assassinated the Man called Jesus via a political-driven crucifixion but were unable to kill what He contained. Jesus rose again and told His followers that through His Sacrifice, they were also entitled to be partakers of what He contained. That being Christ; the Person of God or the Anointing. This Christ has always operated out of a body. And each body it chooses to operate from; whether it is Jesus or The Body of Believers around the world. That body must play the role of the visible part of the invisible Christ. This visible part will suffer persecution as the invisible part takes full control and the enemy attempts to stop the pre-eminence of Christ inside His body. In this age, this persecution will be in the form of “the Mark of the Beast” which will bring about a political and religious pressure upon anybody who contains what Jesus contained. Those who contain Christ will not accept this “Mark” and so will be excommunicated from the world system as a whole. How will these political powers find these Christians? I say through those who are “affiliated” with the body of believers and prefer a political agenda before a spiritual one.

6-1    So now, I am going to say something to you now, that I haven’t said all along. And that is, the thing that we have looked forward to for so long, or at least many years, four or five years or maybe longer, the third pull has now been vindicated, and I’m sure you all know what it is.

Now, remember, there’ll never be any impersonation of that, ’cause it can’t be. It cannot be. Now, it’s in existence, and I have–I am warned of this, that soon, right at this time now, it’s just happened, so it could identify its presence among you. See? But it will not be used in a great way, until this council begins to tighten up. And when it does, when that does… The Pentecostals and so forth can almost impersonate anything could be done, but when that time comes, when the squeeze comes down, then you’ll see what you have seen temporarily, be manifested in the fullness of its power. See…?… see?

How will this power get a hand around the Believers? How will they be able to identify the people whom they seek to attack? They’ll need people who are “affiliated” to this Message just as Judas was “affiliated” to the Ministry of Jesus. He was an “elder” just as Pastor Byskal had “elders” who are now turning to politics to further their cause. I wonder if they could be offered some wealth in return; would they sell Him (Christ) as they’ve sold their pastor. If so, where do we find Him today (Christ). Would you have sold Jesus if you had the true revelation of who he was? He was the Anointed One of God (the Christ).

Jesus is no longer with us, but God’s anointing is still here. Christ is still on the planet but what form is He in or who has He anointed? Pope John Paul II? (Soon to be proclaimed a “saint” by the Vatican). Pope Benedict? Any of the many “messengers” on the face of the planet including those who claim this Message as their own. Or a predestinated people in the end time (i.e. the period in which the signs of the times as shown by scripture point to His second coming). The time period is obvious; His coming is expected; His form or should I say the manifestation of the promise is mystical or a mystery… to some except those who He reveals it to. He said; “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: and he shall turn the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:5

This Elijah (believe it or not) has come and gone. As his ministry came to its fulfilment; he had the same challenges that Jesus had when His ministry reached a climax. The preaching of the unadulterated, unapologetic, revealed Word stirs up the enemy. We find this enemy usually has influence closer to home than we think i.e. Judas and likewise “ministers” who were “affiliated” with the supernatural Ministry of the prophet but could not stand when a “squeeze” came.

Now; the Roman Catholic Church believes in the succession of Popes. Bible believers, however, have the Scripture which says : “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”Ephesians 4: 11-14

This is what is called the 5-fold Ministry; ordained to perfect the body of Christ (not the body of Jesus, the body of Christ).

Paul also says in 1Corinthians 12: 27 “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” Who does he mean when he says “ye”. The body of Believers.

Let’s take a look at the biblical “succession” or one may say the condescending of God. From Elohim into Jesus Christ, down to Pentecost where the Apostles were ordained, down through the seven Church Ages where there was a denominational mixup, up through the reformation of Luther and Wesley, through to the restorative ministry of the Elijah of Malachi 4, down through the 5-fold Ministry to the Pastors to YOU the Believer. The Believer being a member of the mystical body of CHRIST. When YOU reach a point in your life when the promises He made to you are being fulfilled in their season and in their fullness; rest assured if you have what Jesus had; you will encounter the same response in the form of persecution and most likely it will come from an area close to you such as “elders” in the church you pastor. This in itself may be a good indication that you’re on the right path for: “The disciple is not above [his] master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:25-28

We will continue to support the preaching of sound doctrine and we proclaim no political standpoint. We are here as witnesses and in support of our Brothers and Sisters who we may never have met in this dimension but believe the same Supernatural Message that changed our lives. We have pastors here in South Africa such as Israel Nkodima who suffer the same political issues within their assemblies. This phenomenon is not isolated to Cloverdale. It is happening GLOBALLY. Why? This due to nothing other than sticking with the unadulterated Word of God. Could it be that the time of the squeeze is here? How close are we to the end? It’s later than you think! Here’s to the ministers in this end time who choose not to be swayed by cowardly attacks! From beyond the curtain of time: “Keep Pressing On”. Stand firm and wait for the results for “By their fruits ye shall know them.” God bless you.

We’ve had a recent furor over the internet with certain individuals (whose motives are yet to be established) looking to degrade the Ministry and personal life of the Pastor of Cloverdale Bibleway. The sensitive information which was irresponsibly broadcasted over the internet for the public to peruse could only have been put out there by a juvenile with close ties to the breakaway group that now seems to be targeting other people of the same stage in life i.e. young people. The involvement of “elders” from the new group has been one where the blogger tsanning says they sent her/him the material. These claims are somewhat difficult to understand. Elders in a church sending a juvenile, “annonymous” blogger sensitive information that documents things that may destroy marriages and family relationships. It’s a far-fetched story. Either the “elders” are cowards to begin with or this juvenile is one of their children who managed to access this information in the home. After being banned from the blog in question, we started our own. As a welcome message; take a look at the posting that got us banned. i.e. The posting that tsanning does not want you to read:

Good Day.
I would like to begin by congratulating tsanning on her/his unprecedented success in creating this forum of discussion. I quite admire the resourcefulness exhibited in being able to access all the information that has thus far been presented as facts to us, the spectators.
I would also like to introduce myself as a man born on this planet in the 20th century under the same conditions as most people who are now between the ages of 18 and 40. i.e. the video game generation/information age. I am in fact a beneficiary of the message that is preached by Ed Byskal although I can say that our assembly here in South Africa has no financial connection to CBW as far as I know. I have come into contact with various religions and religious orders in my course of life. I was educated by Jesuits in a Catholic junior school, was in an Anglican high school, came from a Methodist home and have relatives who practice ancestral worship to this day. I have also delved into Islam during my journey and was an avid practitioner of the religion of Hip Hop. (Yes; it is a religion). From all my experiences there is no higher form of worship with power contained in it to transform a human being than the message preached by pastors such as Ed Byskal and our own pastors and elders here in South Africa. That is my personal “statement of faith” as it were.
tsanning; our host; has had many comments and subsequent replies which are very interesting to observe. The dialogue that draws my attention the most is the exchange between her/himself and Madibawitbank.
I think that he has asked some very pertinent questions which unfortunately have been brushed off as “muddled thinking” and “rambling”. Now, we must understand that in South Africa there are 11 official languages of which English is but one. What may seem straightforward to someone like myself may seem difficult to decipher for a North American. This being understood I’ve looked through what Madibawitbank had to say and viewed tsanning’s responses and I have the following questions remaining in my mind:

– What does tsanning stand for? i.e. what would be her/his point of reference when it comes to religion. There were some references including quotes from the Bible, William Marrion Branham and Bob Dylan. Dylanite maybe? What I would like to know is this. If I can leave this Message or an assembly such as Ed Byskal’s; where would tsanning point me to?

-Where is she getting such sensitive information from? What relationship, if any, does she have with the “elders” of the church who left the assembly. If my elders were unable to fight a battle publicly on mine or the assembly’s behalf but rather resort to feeding internal information to an entity whose identity,motives and standpoint are still unknown (well, at least to myself) I would have serious reservations about their ability to maintain that office. One may even suggest that they lack backbone.

These are my main concerns with this issue. If tsanning or any of the “elders” may answer these for me, I would greatly appreciate it and maybe, we’ll be able to discuss the issues concerning conduct, order and doctrine in a Christian assembly once we get to uncover these things.

To tsanning: Kindly respond to Madibawitbank’s concerns as well and spare some patience for Christians whose first language may not be English. What may seem like “ramblings” and “muddled thinking” may be a sincere attempt at communication. In South Africa, we are quite accustomed to racial bias so I’m sure the Brother took no offence but please; focus on the questions and not your own prejudice. You did say; “I hate bullies and will always try to stand up for those that are being mistreated.” Frankly speaking, I think you’ve mistreated the person on a cultural/racial basis and at the risk of being called a hypocrite please respond as best you can so we may all continue to enjoy this wonderful platform of debate that you have so masterfully created.

I have by the way read ALL the posts, downloaded and watched the Sermon in question as per tsanning’s requirements of participation.

I’m sure we’ll hear more from each other as we proceed.
